Taffy went to Jeannie and Ron in Crescent City. Jeannie writes: "She's settling in well. It is amazing that 3 small dogs racing down a hallway and tearing through all the rooms on barely more than a concrete slab can sound like 30 elephants!! They chase each other and then turn around and do it again. She likes to run from the boys, then suddenly drop and roll on her back.

"He’s doing great, I really love him! Thanks so much for letting me buy him and for having hubby drop him off! He’s such a sweet loving dog, he’s been on my couch the whole time. He’s a little afraid but I can tell he’ll get over that soon. He’s already perked his ears and came when I called him. He’s just great! " -Amy
Hunter lives up to his name and is always on the lookout for prey. He went to live with Ed in El Paso Texas - who writes: "MY HUNTER IS SO SWEET AND SO SETTLED IN LIKE NO OTHER HAS IN THE PAST. I AM SO REALLY PLEASED WITH HIM AND I THINK WE ARE WELL BONDED TO
EACH OTHER. SEVERAL OF MY FRIENDS ARE BLOWN AWAY BY HIS BEAUTIFUL LONG
COAT. ME TOO!!" Ed
They have to skid to a stop then they spend a few moments chewing on her ears and washing her face, then they're off again. That's what they're doing now and it is so distracting--it's so funny to watch. We love her more every day, and are so thankful you let her become a part of our family."
